Increase Muscle Strength In Young People

In 2009 and 2010, a group of researchers published some interesting findings based on a study that involved 12 healthy men who were training. As expected, testosterone levels were significantly higher after training arm plus feet than just an arm. However, unexpected was that by training legs after arms, did not result in any increase in protein synthesis, muscle strength and arm after 15 weeks.
The researchers concluded that “exposure to high levels of muscle worked endogenous anabolic hormones not result in hypertrophy, or increase muscle strength in young people.” Although the study is interesting, it is not possible to conclude from this that changes testosterone during exercise are unimportant.
First, is to imagine that the trained arm alone will benefit from increased testosterone the day when they trained and feet. Second, subjects worked legs after arm, not before, which may have hindered the ability to interact with testosterone bicep.
Finally, as mentioned above, subjects had no experience in training, so that makes it impossible to apply their results experienced bodybuilders.
